Roooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaarrr!
Rooooooooooooooooooooooar!

“Especially… especially; do not fuck with vegans, Do not look vegans in the eye… If you get in an argument with a vegan, say ‘I’m wrong’ and run away… As fast as you can! Do not fuck with vegans, they will fuck you up. Because they’re hungry!”
– Margaret Cho.

…and if you hear this, EVER, run away. Run. Away. This is the feared vegan roar.

: ) all in good humor, the vegan roar is brought to us by Hawthorne Heights – “Niki FM” and the minds of my friend and I in my art class.

Windows XP performance.

Code.

Anyone who has used, or is using WinXP knows that speed is an important thing. When you have it, you are happy and when you don’t, you are frustrated, annoyed at that extra hundred milliseconds it took to boot.

Now, a few hundred milliseconds doesn’t seem like a lot of time, but once you have spent a considerable amount of time on the computer, you start noticing these small details; and most likely, you get annoyed at such details.

This is a nice guide describing how to optimize windows performance. It shows small tweaks that could help eliminate those milliseconds you hope to make disappear. No fancy vocabulary, just as long you understand what computers are and have messed around a bit with the system, you should be able to figure it out quite fine.

I found it quite nice, considering I have looked into many tweaks and guides on how to optimize WinXP, this has to be one of the better ones I have read.
Along with that, I personally run CCleaner every week or so to keep performance up.

Have you ever wondered how big the universe really is? Do you know how big it is, but can’t comprehend such a big number?

This video is nicely done and narrarated, explaining the universe in an entertaining and educational manner with a dash of humor and wit.

In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope took the image of a millenium, an image that shows our place in the universe. Anyone who understands what this image represents, is forever changed by it.
